Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
What changed
This repository has been merged into astrophotography, where it lives on as the
itelescope/directory alongside the processing pipeline and the observing plans. Both histories are preserved. The merge was done by relocating each repository's files into a subdirectory within its own history first, then merging the unrelated histories — so
git log --followstill traces any file across the move. 45 commits in the combined repo. Why the notice is in CLAUDE.md as well as README.md
Under the Default Workflow a session reads
CLAUDE.mdfirst. The drain campaign is live with runs most nights and other sessions are actively working here, so the redirect has to be visible before a session starts work, not after it has committed something that will be stranded. Why this is not archived yet
The campaign runs until 10-12 Aug: the CrA run on T8 is tonight, verification tomorrow, and further queued sessions after that. Freezing the repo mid-flight would break work in progress for no benefit. Archive once the campaign closes and the account is cancelled.
Until then: new work goes to
astrophotography, this copy stays readable.
